Moab, Utah Hot Air Balloon Rides

Our hot air balloon ride with Moab Adventure Center/Canyonlands Ballooning was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Everything was amazing, from the communications with the company and the efficiency and friendliness of the ground crew and pilot to the actual experience of the balloon ride. I was surprised by how smooth the ride was in comparison to riding a helicopter. I anticipated that "stomach drop" feeling you get when riding a roller coaster or lifting off in a helicopter, but I was so busy taking pictures of the inside of the balloon that I didn't even realize we had lifted off the ground! Our pilot, Lou, was very knowledgeable in pointing out local landmarks and sharing details about how the hot air balloon worked. The ride was finished off with a champagne toast as a nod to the French origins of hot air balloons. It was an amazing experience that I hope to be able to repeat again someday! I highly recommend taking a hot air balloon ride with this company
